Menghapus Jejakmu music clip parody
In Fine art, briefs were open to any subject and this way I can produce my own work, which I am more interested in and passionate about. Though at this point, due to lack of skills and knowledge, as I must say skipping foundation was not an ideal choice, my work was only based on an idea with aesthetic audio and visuals. I was into music clips and started making a parody. Without any doubt, I thought it was successful as it was the first ever moving image I produced, “Menghapus Jejakmu”. I held on to the thought where there is no right and wrong in art though I strongly question that statement now. It may be correct but I hardly think a successful artist should start off with that as a guide as it is a complicated definition of “Just do it!” This piece was meant to be an experiment but I decided to put it up all together as an installation piece.
It was the first time I attempted new media area and it took me approximately 2 months to get it over with but seems pretty worthed.

Menghapus Jejakmu simply means destroying your trails. Here I am destroying mine by not looking back. My tutor told me to take out the music because it has became to "music clip" instead but I insisted because at that time I thought by keeping the song I would be able to deliver the message to viewers clearly. However, I was new, confused and stubborn.

Looking back, I don’t think I started off on the wrong foot; I look at myself as still being in the stage of experimenting and risking myself out of my comfort zone. This poster is meant to go with my installation of the Menghapus Jejakmu music clip parody.
